"we are in a win-win situation" no matter what the enemy throws at us it goes through the father and he allows it or stops it.

Todays devotional reflects what I have a hard time grasping. I know I have been called by Jesus and submitted my life to God. I understand we can so learn by mistakes, maybe I just hate that.
I wish once I was saved I wouldn't make mistakes or give in to what the enemy throws at me. We are constantly told to resist and rely on God, turn to God, it's just not so easy all the time.

Some folk live by everything happens for a reason and our good, that phrase gives me comfort when I am going through a tough time but also works to erode my resistance to sin. Sometimes I just hate being in the flesh....ugh

I def feel strengthened tho by a trial Ive come through... gives me more hope for the next one. And I have a verse I read when I need it.;

When God takes away an old sourse or system
and gives you a new one,
It doesnt mean the old one was no good,
It just means He`s chosen a new way of guiding and providing.
When God pushes you out of your comfort zone en route
to your destiny,
expect to go through some unfamiliar, anxiety-producing territory. Its the only way to go from surviving- to thriving. bow2

I like what this says....Is it based on scripture?, which one?
It makes sense and is comforting. Especially for me today, in light of some changes yesterday.

Glad you like it. I found it in `United Christian Broadcasters` The word for today, its a book of daily devotionals, scripture based.

And that verse is echoed throughout scripture, just look at Job, for 1. Ive found with hindsight that its also happened to me a few times....and even if we dont realise at the time, and even though it can be painful at the time, the good Lord knows what Hes doing. Hes taken things away from me that I thought I didnt want to give up, only to realise down the road, that once again Hes bowled me over with His wisdom. And its actually benefited me to be without those things. cool bow2
