But the money that was made through merchandising at the time of the campaign went towards the purchase of a home (paid in full) that is now an emergency shelter for children that are removed from their homes due to abuse or abandonment.

The home was donated to a church, Calvary Chapel of Fort Lauderdale, whose members volunteered the materials and manpower to renovate it for these kids in need.

I highly encourage everyone to watch the video. It is a very encouraging story that truly is a metaphor for what God can do in the lives of even the most broken and hurting of us.
