Hey DX1890, would you mind explaining what you think constitutes a worship song and how it's different from a praise song? I've never figured out what the difference is supposed to be. If I knew then I might be able to compose a list. Thanks. Chat later.

I really can't give you a concrete answer. To me it all depends on the flow of the music. I tend to think of worship songs as those that can simply go on for longer periods of time without even realizing that you've repeated it four or five times. Something that you get lost in the moment and really connect with God on a one on one basis and ignore who and what is around you. Where as a praise song has a similar effect but has more of a drive to it. More motivating kind of feeling to it. I hope that helps explain how I see the difference. However the common ly used way that unfortunatley over simplifies it is praise is generally upbeat or up tempo and worship is a slower, calmer tempo.
